- What are the symptoms of a cracked head? I just removed and cleaned mine, but don't know if head cracks are visible to the naked eye or something I'd have to have magnafluxed or dye-penetrant checked

- My first head from the '77's that I had was blowing smoke at start-up due to some cracks around the valve seats. The second head blew two head gaskets due to a six-inch crack that ran from the rocker
