Oliver, the CoD appears in a vertical line directly below the vent or wing window - it is usually caused by using said window to close the door over a period of time. It's a 'tear' in the door skin,

I don't know if it will work or not, but I have heard Larry Hoy say that he used a glue of some sort to attach his modified radiator mounts. He mentioned that it is frequently used in body shops now

not I would tend to agree but that doesn't explain why it usually appears on the drivers door, my RHD roadster also has it on the drivers door. I would guess that closing the door is the cause. Also

You are correct, I have a GT. The door skins had no sign of the dreaded crack but they did need replacing for bottom end rust. This sort of supports the theory that GTs are not suseptible. Regards B
