I've got an extra dowel pin and extra bolts in my crank. Chip had a flywheel break loose two years ago; he caught me just as I was leaving work "uh, could you stop by the shop and pick up...." John L

I've suffered such a failure, though it was a case of the bolts backing out of the crank, not a lack of dowel or surplus of HP.

Bob that was the 4th time I have had the flywheel break all 4 bolts. The first time was 4 or 5 years ago. Broke all 4 bolts a 1 pin, replaced bolts & pin 2 races later crank broke just behine #6 rod!
