Just did it. Removed the motor mounts and jacked the engine from below just about an inch or so. Blocked it up. Also removed the radiator AND the crossover pipe. Then fitted a socket, wedging the br

I didn't even have to release the exhaust. I jacked the motor just till the top of the exhaust pipe began to touch the bottom of the metal frame piece it drops down thru. To tighten the bolt, I used

You can get to the bolt by jacking up the engine. Undo both front motor mounts first, you don't have to touch the tranny mounts. Don't forget the lock tab, bend it back before undoing the bolt. It i

On the 948 and 1098 engines the crankshaft pulley bolt is 1 5/16". Don't know about the 1275. I just went to my local family owned hardware store and the guy rented me a socket and 3/4" to 1/2" drive
