Coverlays are semi-rigid plastic covers that fit over your current crashpad. They look reasonable but are easily distinguished from the original. I got one but never put it on. The right way to do it

I found the overlay covers to be a bit too glossy and didn't like the feel of them. My pad only had 2 cracks in it, but most of the vinyl had become very brittle. It didn't make sense to me to put ne

I think the pad on my GT6 is good for the same reason Eric... The Pacific Northwest of the US isn't known for getting much UV either. Cold but not soggy... (yet) Bill J '68 GT8
