- Thanks Gary, I take it then, that both axles need to be installed to check end play? What do people use in lieu of the "paper" gaskets? Silicon? I count a minimum of 4 gaskets required per end assumi

- Haven't got specific Dana data, but normally the rear end assemble needs a lot of fit and check for gear contact. The "central position" is the contact the drive pinion has with the ring gear. Usual
