Here in the UK crinkle (or crackle, or wrinkle ) paint is available in aerosol cans. The instructions give the ambient temp required and call for one thin coat immediately followed by a thick coat. D

I used crinkle paint on a TD wiper motor with good results. However I think the dash of the MGB is more of a pebble finish and the grain is more prominent. The crinkle paint doesn't creat that rough
