Ray - My '77 had plastic on the speedo, too. But I replaced it with glass. I took the plastic one to a glass shop and they cut it perfectly, including the hole and the small detents on the edge. Lee

Had a similar problem some time back only with stove guages. Went to my local glass shop and they cut the circular pieces and drilled out the knob hole. Worked just fine at a fraction of the cost! --
