That makes sense. Part of the point of synthetics is reduced drag, and the synchronizers rely on drag to bring the gears to the same speed before engaging. Chris K.

What is even more important is contained within Frank C's. post. Had no idea there was anything in synthetic that would "attack" the metal of British synchros.... real bad news, IMHO. Be a real PITA
