When I had a similar problem with my 72 and Riverside setup, I had to adjust the pushrod to have a little free play because it would overdrive the clutch. The effect felt the same as if the clutch ha

Bent, bending or wrong arm is a possibility. Insufficient flywheel face (lightened on clutch side and not reverse) for clutch to fully disengage even with full travel. Daniel
