You bet. Not just "close enough" but real roller thrust bearings specifically designed for the MGB (don't know about MGA's) as a "heavy duty" replacement for the carbon bearing. It's listed in most

Well Moss, VicBrit and Seven sell roller release bearings which are of the ball bearing type, but they cost 4 times as much. I don't know if they are the same size as the one used in the MGA, but the
