Oh yeah, I did check the belt to make sure it had the proper tension on it. Also I put the battery on a 2amp charge last night and this morning when I started it up the ignition light came on like it

First, check the bulb. Next, run the standard Alternator tests in the Bentley manual. Take the appropriate action when the fault is found. Check any wire on the way. Phil Bates
