Thanks for the response, Bill. A number of listers have told me about having a party replace the webbing with a custom installation. I'm not hearing the rah! rah! diaphragm support (no pun intended).

I have used both in my 71 MGB and about 3 years ago after sitting on the floor for the first year after buying it I decided to pull the seats out and have a look. Found the foam was pretty well shot

My only experience with the diaphram is that when I pulled apart the seats from my '65 B, I found that the seats foams and cardboard stiffeners were totally shot, but the diaphrams were still decent
