- Can't seem to find a torque setting for when slipping the diff back into it's axle shell -- 8 bolts, about 1/4" diam. Something like 20 ftlbs too much?? chuck Check out the new British Cars Forum: ht

- Hi Chuck, I believe the studs are 5/16 in. and I usually put the torques at about 22 lb.ft. per the torque settings given by Lotus Engineering. I hope this helps! Check out the new British Cars Forum
