Quite true. I have a 289 Fairlane motor in the snake and an early HiPo 289 sitting on an engine stand in my garage. The dip sticks for these two engines are not the same length. Roland

Tym, Take a look at the Ford SVO dipstick for SBF's. It's chrome, and the the tube is easily bent by hand to conform to the Tigers wierd contour. If i remember correctly, I think the length can be aj
