Thanks Kelvin, I did check the Moss catalog and saw these were supposed to be from earlier models. I'm going to be running the HIF carbs. The two distributors had different vacuum advances on them. I

The numbers on the advance units are very hard to see. They are on the face towards the distributor (if I remember correctly) and may need some emery cloth cleaning to become visible. They are there

10 degrees is correct for an 18G, GA, B, D or G giving 20 crankshaft degrees. The vacuum capsule should be marked 5 - 13 - 10 meaning it starts at 5 in Hg. stops at 13 in Hg. and has a max advance of
