Any tips on, how to, or not to, drive the pin back in the drive dog end of the dizzy shaft. I have the pin in the freezer now but I'm hoping there is a quicker method. I'm re using the pin since its

Phil The shaft is drilled for a one way only pin fitment. If you try it 180 out, you can do it but now you bent the pin. Stick the drive on and look thru the hole, make sure it is on the right way. I

Bevel the end a tiny bit. But make sure the drive dog is on the shaft correctly, not 180 degrees off. Sometimes it will go that way! Imagine that! It's also nice to have a solid backing for the drive

Thanks you guys. I must be lucky today because I got it in tapping it on the vise anvil and didn't bend the pin. It looks good and no slop. Why are the shaft bushes $70? I'm glad I didn't need one. N
