Would it be possible to replace that line with a 1/8" copper line normally used for and oil pressure gauge? I don't know what size thread the stock hose ends are but if it is possible to screw in a

I just rebuilt my B/GT motor and ordered a replacement hose from Moss. They are now providing a stainless braided flex hose of same length, in lieu of the old braided rubber hose. Martin Libhart ///

Huh? what's the difference? The braided part has always been steel, the inner part presumably is still rubber. I don't think braided steel by itself could actually contain a liquid... -- Max Heim '66
