Don't know right now the total answer but I can tell you that this situation is typical in NASCAR dry sump systems. In fact, one of the reasons to spin the pump is to get the oil out of the pan.(don

My dry sump does the same thing after it sits for awhile. I just spin the pump to get the pressure back up & light off the motor. The tank fills right up, and all is well with the world again. Ed --
