Hello all, Has anyone ever tried to fit a dual exhaust to a stock pre-74.5 MGB? Looking at the downpipe from the header, it seems that it merges from two pipes into one. How effective do you think it

Mike: I helped build a 63 MGB dual exhaust and have a 68GT V6 with dual exhaust. The 63 had twin pipes following the original routing and used glasspacs. The sound was incredible, almost a V8 burble.

Michael, I hate to play the math geek again, but just in case it will have a bearing on your decision, I need to point out that two 1.25" exhaust pipes are not "in effect" a 2 1/2" exhaust diameter.

ok if you want free flow exhaust on your MG this is what you do. where the pipe meets the resonator you cut about 6 inches off the pipe. then in its place you weld a "Y" with one end with a butterfly
