Anybody using dual fuel pumps? I'm thinking of using a 110gph/14psi pump at the trunk-mounted fuel cell, thorugh 12 feet of 1/2" hard line to a large cannister filter on the firewall, then through a

If you're talking gas, will the second pump be necessary? Could you run 1/2" to a regulator next to the carb? Just asking, I do understand "Just in case". Bryan

Massive overkill. Plus uses way too much electricity and a fire hazard at best if anything breaks. I doubt if you are making over 1400 hp... 50 gph is more than enough for 700 hp at 7 psi. Put 1 pump

My unfinished streamliner has a 100 gph electric pump supplying a tall thin surge tank with the excess fuel and any bubles flowing back to the 3 gal main tank . The Hilborn pump draws bubble free fue

Hmmmm, 50 gph for 700hp seems kind of marginal to me, Dave. Assuming a BSFC of 0.5 lbs/hp/hr, 700hp would require about 58 gph. (assuming gas at 6 lbs/gal). And Dick's old Chrysler is probably worse

you are right did it quick and had a little typo meant 70. easy way to figure it is 10 gph for 100 hp leaves a 10 to 15% reserve using whatever is the operating pressure as a gph reference.. dave
