Aha... a familiar name from PhAX! I believe in general the term "banjo" is used on objects which have the general shape of a banjo... round at one end, with a long part coming out of the round part.

Actually, it's the end of many brake hose fittings that forms the "banjo fitting" through which you insert a special hollow bolt. The fitting has the banjo shape, but not the bolt (of course!). Banjo
