David, Go to your local hardware store (or Lowes) and buy a couple of C clips. They are easier to work with ;) Take the wheel cylinder or one of the E clips with you to match up the size. See the fol

What are the thin springy bent washers that go behind the c-clip called? They keep tension on the brake cylinder against the back plate.

Throw them away! Go to any hardware store with w/cylinder in hand and but the original style JC clip. JC meaning those 2 religous words you say when the clip goes flying. ;) The E clips will work but

Thanks to all that replied. The next time I deal with these I'll get the C or JC clips. For the interim, I took the E clips to the grinder and ground them thinner so they were easier to put on. My ma
