The Retaining Rail referred to in the Moss catalog is shown as being screwed into the wood bow, I'm assuming to hold the soft top to the bow. I would think this would be the same piece regardless of

Top bow is not the same. The BN7 has an aluminum angled section attached (bolted) along the entire length whereas the BT7 does not have this piece and the soft top is attached directly by nailing/tac
