- I suppose if I did not have a misspelling I might of got an answer.....I'll try again. Can someone please list the brake fluids that are ok, and will not destroy rubber components of a brake system.

- Hi JG: All dot 3 or 4 fluids have to meet certain standards. But the ones that I prefer are Girling lmh or lockheed. I un my 69GT,48 Y saloon, and 52 TD on silicone dot 5. There are some tricks to us

- Silicone has to be bled very slowly, and should be followed up a day or two later. It has a tendecy to trap air if not handled properly. It is better to start out with all new brake componets. On Td
