I've seen a blue Midget somewhere online that is electric. You better get some good axles if you do it. DC motor torque is no joke.

Well, the midget has a towing capacity of 1300 lbs, which is still 2.6 times more than my wife VW Jetta who's manual says 500lbs max towing... cyrille

My 1500 has a towing capacity of 1500 lbs (hmm may be more, I do not have the manual here and I know it was more than my 84 Caravan) and my wife's 2006 Jetta 5 cylinder has a towing capacity of 1800
