The pump moves water at about a gallon a min, the engine holds about a 1/4 of a gallon so we are exchanging the water about every 15 sec. It seems to work as the temp stays where we want it. Gary C H

Been using different brands for 30 years and never over heated or hurt an engine because of water pump failure. GPM is important as well as flow (water control). The only people I know who have hurt
