During a recent cool spell in the spring weather I thought I would replace the worn out alternator in the Tiger. This is a relatively simple task which has become a curse thanks to my own stupidity.

Best guess is you blew a diode in the alternator. It should be putting out 13.5 volts at least. Take the regulator to any parts store and have them test it. They should do it for free. Dave Johnson
