Yes, that's the correct torque. 18 ft. lbs. is what I use. You're right that it doesn't seem like much, but they're only 5/16" bolts. Put some blue loctite on there too. Bruce McGuire

With a stiffer clutch, I'd feel better using grade 8 bolts, which you can torque to 20/25 lb-ft (oiled/dry). Also, use Loctite as Bruce McGuire suggests. Here's a link to some torque specs. http://r
