I just took delivery of a dealer brochure printed 12/65. The engine in the picture is painted black. I thought they were the maroon color until 1970 or so. It was interesting that it listed as option

I have a sales booklet with 6518 on the back which I assume to mean 1965. The engine is Austin green with a red valve cover in picture of the engine by itself. In another picture of the engine bay,
