Has anyone attempted to drop a 1600cc OHC engine and transmission from a 68 Datsun Wagon (I believe it is a 510) in a 1600 roadster. I am just exploring some options, and I am wondering if this is so

Quite a few roadsters are running around with the L16/L18 engines under the hood. To keep the hood stock, you'll need to "notch" the front cross member to clear the oil pump. Take a look at both eng

The L16 conversion is possible, but is requires some modifications. First, let me mention that Stan Chernoff(SP?) used to sell an L-Series conversion kit for roadster. This includes modified engine
