AFAIK the 45DM (and 45DE) aren't 'proper' electronic ignition systems, only an electronic trigger to the standard ignition system, much like the Pertronix, i.e. it only replaces the points. PaulH. ig

I would check the float in the front carb. You also may have a bad needle valve in that carb. This is just a place to start. Mike Olsen

No 1 plug may not be firing. Clip your timing light onto each plug in turn and check that it flashes. Alternatively remove the lead from each plug in turn and connect it to a spare plug which you lay
