I would highly recommend the Ford 7.3 L PowerStroke. The new 6.0 liter Fords have had some problems and I never cared for the GM diesel solutions which started back when they tried their 350 big bloc

The Powerstroke diesel in Ford f250 and f350 is awesome. I average 17mpg. It always starts (even in below zero Wisconsin winters).Power to spare. The only problem I had was a cam position sensor need
