I'm quite happy with the one that I got from Ken G. It fits really well and seems to be a quality piece of work. The Monza that I used to have is not worth much. I had high hopes for the Kirk header

Jack, I've been using the stainless steel unit offered by the Roadster Factory. Has held up very well compared to the mild steel headers that seem to rust through every two years. I doubt, however, t

It's supposed to help keep some of the engine bay heat down, which it does seem to do, much like wrapping the headers but more durable (and less prone to spontaneous combustion due to adsorbed vapors

The heat goes out the end of the pipe instead of radiating under the hood. The process is for performance - the "look" is a positive side benefit. Getting the heat down under the hood is a good thing

what benefit does coating buy on the stainless header? It'll keep the engine compartment temps down and exhaust charge temp up, leading to better scavenging.
