Now for the next faze of the project. Last week I installed K&N filters with stub stacks and #6 needles. Now I'm doing the exhaust. I would like to know what headers and exhaust systems people are us

I use the early stock exaust mainfold and down pipe with an Ansa exaust system on my 77, I like the way it runs and sounds. John Twist gave me this advice when I changed to SU's, worked well for me.

I've been very happy with my Peco. Fit was flawless. It's relatively quiet (and in a GT you hear more of the moans and groans of the drive line and etc than you would in a ragtop) I went to #7 needle

I own a MGB-GT, a beautiful noisy (interior noise) LBC. (You roadster owners calm down! When your top is up or your detachable top is on, you're just as noisy!) I would like to add a free flow exhaus

On my GT, I'm running a "home made" system which consists of 1 3/4" pipe from the "Y" connector (just behind where the two down pipes join) feeding a 13" glass pack, and exiting through a 2" tail pi

Hmmm .. sounds like what I've been looking for. Who makes the 'glass pack'? 1-3/4" is the stock 'B' diameter, right? Is it 1-3/4" straight thru? ... or does it have both 1-3/4" and 2" connections? W

Sounds like you want more sound attenuation between the noisy exhaust and you. The combination of a 20ga. steel panel, some undercoating, and some carpet might as well not exist as far as the low fr

If you want quiet without losing a lot of power, I would suggest 2 glasspacks. Using 1 3/4 exhaust, you will have room for a 30 inch long, 4 inch diameter, 2" input/output glasspack underneath the c

The glass pack is a "generic" Item I picked up at the local Western Auto (before they morphed into Parts America). The 1 3/4" pipe is the same as stock, and is connected to the G/P with a 1 3/4 X 2"

Most of the Monza complaints involve the fit of the headers which do require some grinding and possibly bending to get to fit correctly. As for the exhaust system portion, I have had very few problem
