So I'm shopping for a burn suit for a streamliner motorcycle. I can find all sorts of SFI-15 suits around. The rules require gloves and boots of equivalent rating. None of the gloves and boots I find

If you look at page 21 of the 2000 rulebook, it shows that for a SFI 3.3 /15 fire suit, gloves must be SFI 3.3/15, boots must be SFI 3.3/5 AND headsock SFI 3.3. I am sure that if you contact Jim Die

Cycles don't require fire suits-except streamliners-get a copy of the rule book-it's spelled out pretty specifically.

The rules on page 21 seem to conflict with the rules on page 93, section D3, that says "same or better rating" than the suit. This would mean SFI 3-2A/15. This is all pretty moot until I can contact

The suit spec is 3.2A not 3.3..........otherwise the rule book is confusing on this subject! I suggest that he contact Bob Stroud 800-554-4648 and compare notes.. Skip H
