Sorry, but the Spitfire disk rims prior to 1970 were 3.5" (same as Herald). Wire wheels for Spitfires were 4.5" throughout, whether knock-off style from 1962-69 or bolt-on from 1971 to about 1974. Th

I thought that the TR7 wheels -- with the same offset and bolt pattern as the Spit/GT6 -- were 5.5" wheels, with slots. Hope that muddies the thread a bit. -- Martin Secrest 73 GT6 72 TR6
