In my 80'B, the fans come on as soon as the temperature gauge hits the 1/3 mark, and they don't go off until I shut off the engine. Then they run for no more than 5 seconds. They have never run for 5

I was under the impression that factory electric fans, whether wired direct or via a relay, operated off the green circuit, therefore should stop when the engine is switched off. That is what Haynes
