I was trying to remove the bolt for the fan extension and had no luck. The crank pully kept turning with the bolt. Does anyone have any "tricks" to remove this stubborn bolt.... thanx Brad _________

I have used an even poorer man's impact wrench on mine. A small hammer tapped on the handle of either an open end or adjustable wrench. It worked on mine. Good luck. Buz '72 that runz guud now

My new favorite trick with a stuck bolt is to tighten it first. This loosens up any rust or Loctite or gasket material. Of course, you'll need to solve the engine turning over problem first. Ciao, J
