If I remember correctly Basil drives an Austin 1100/1300 also known as an Austin American on this side of the pond. It is sort of a large Mini, using a similar suspension and power train. Ken Roach '

It's not a mini, but it's big sister the Austin Morris 1100/1300 series, like most badge engineered cars of the period there were a lot of siblings: Austin 1100, 1300 and 1300GT Morris 1100 and 1300
