Ok, I now have bot the engine compartment and driver's fire bottles securely mounted. Now on to plumbing. I can get aluminum, steel, or copper tubing to use for plumbing. Steel sounds better, however

Rule book sez metal lines and nozzles. I use copper.....lots of fittings and easy to wrk with. Aluminum could corrode but so can all the rest except stainless (harder to form). I get my stuff at ACE.

I'd recommend you stay away from copper tubing. Although it is easy to bend, it work-hardens and it also has very poor fatigue characteristics. Vibration will cause cracks in copper tubing far soone

I use aluminum because it's easy to work with except for areas where it might get pinched, then I use steel. I don't like the green stuff that copper accumulates but thats just a personal problem. If

Sorry, didn't say the rule book said to mount them that way. The instructions came with a set I had purchased did though. So, I am gonna order aluminum line, cause it is cheaper thac copper. Checked
