Any hardware store. Buy a large "C" clamp, drill a 3/8" hole in the fixed end, use it as a valve spring compressor by tightening the knob. It also makes a great caliper press and, get this, it makes

Yeah- The one from Sears works great on spridgets. I had to cut a hole in the side of a deep socket with my dremel to adapt it to work on my Jags head though.

An appropriately sized socket placed on the valve face before applying the spring compressor makes the valve 'longer' by the heighth of the socket. I've used the 'big mother' spring compressor this
