I have 20x8x13s cantilever Hoosiers on my GP Spitfire, and they are on 6" wheels, which is the recommended wheel for the tire although my 2002 Hoosier catalogue says they can go on wheels as narrow a

There are a couple of factors involved in tire clearance on the roundtail cars. Okay, the same factors but with differing dimensions are involved on the squaretails, but I'll try not to be too picky.

I'll add my 2 cents worth. I was running 7" wide by 20" high slicks on 6" wide wheels at Breckinridge and did manage one clean run (thanks Mark). I have since gone to 8" wheels in the front with the
