Jim, When I put my hardtop on I simply tilt the top up at the front at about a 45 degree angle (need 2 people here). Stab the two pins into the trunk hinges and lower down the front. This should comp

I did this recently; recruited the strapping youth next door and still could get it latched with new seals. Eventually I loosened the windshield, latched it and retightened. Didn't take it off at TU.
