Disconnect the motor leads from the GFCI (all 3 of them), then use an ohmmeter to check for leakage between the ground and neutral. Use the highest scale you've got ... IMO anything less than a mego

Something really silly, but have you cleaned the filters lately. My old neighbors hot tub started shutting down (circuit breaker on the pump itself). After I cleaned all the filters it worked fine. M

Mike, Since you said there was a funny hum sound, my guess is that the motor is gone. Either the brushes are fried, or a bearing has frozen and not letting the motor turn. I think you may wish it was

I'm not a HotSprings tech, but I've owned one for about 15 years now and I had to work on it from time to time. Here is the thing about HotSprings brand (and other high end models) they have 2 pumps.
