- On the subject of flat collectors: I designed my headers so that the 4 1 5/8" tubes were aligned side by side (horizontally). I then welded the touching edges together, Using a thin cardboard temple

- Thanks Jim, thats kinda the technique I figured out. The 8-9 inches of collector length is calculated or just what fits? And I know about welding fumes and breating safety! Gary

- The flat collector length is actually 7". No calculations, could be longer and still fit my Tiger. Remember that I also added new frames that are spaced about 4" wider than the original Tiger. Fix o
