Seems like a two stroke flathead would sound just fine! Combustion temps would probably kill the reeds though. Two strokers put them in the induction area. That gets them away from the heat. And allo

Didn't some of the 2 stroke motorcycles use reed valves? Of course they don't function against combustion pressure, just crankcase pressure cycles. I would think that the flow provided by a reed valv
