- Hi Matt, I would not mix the two. 1. the original fluid may be well past it performance wise. 2. the DOT 4 will not perform as it should if mixed with 1. My advice is to drain, clean/flush and refill

- If you don't know what's currently in there, then it's probably time to flush the entire system with fresh fluid. My personal recommendation is Castrol GT/LMA (DOT 4), and thoroughly flush the hydra

- Thanks for the tips on the brake/clutch fluid, guys... It sounds like everyone thinks I should just change all the fluid. I plan on doing this soon. However, I have a sloooooooowww leak in the clutch
