- That's odd. The flywheel bolts shouldn't really be all that tight. They have those bent-up-tab-thingies (scientific term) to keep them from coming adrift. Are you sure you bent down the tabs? Or did

- Yep, sure did. I hate 'em... Nope. head on SAE 3/4 fit but the 19 mm seemed just a bit tighter... I am going to pick up a 6 point socket in each along with an impact wrench this week. Yahoo! GeoCitie

- Most definitely use a 6-point socket! In fact, I don't use 12-point sockets in any situation requiring torque specs (to tighten), or application of excessive force (to remove). Good luck! -- Max Heim

- I thought ALL the bolts on the GB engine were INCH. I had the same problem with the camshaft nut. Soaked it well with "blaster" then used a "6" pt socket and an air impact wrench. Worked well.....tr
