Pep boys has an air duct hose, black corrigated, looks very close to original for less then $10. It is 4" it looks better then dryer vent (white platic stuff) and doesn't crunch like the foil stuff.

I think you will like the 4" duct hose JC Whitney sells. I have one on my '69 and it looks very nice. It is a black rubberized fabric and not shiny or aluminum in appearance.
